This washer-squeezer belt press is designed to remove absorbed water from coir pith, a natural, bio-degradable soil conditioner. From a saturated state of 90% moisture (9 kg of water with 1 kg of solids) this machine mechanically reduces it to 50% moisture (1 kg of water with 1 kg of solids), thus resulting in huge energy savings in subsequent thermal drying.

Key design features:

	Three washes of chemical, recycled water and fresh water are provided, with a heavy squeeze after each wash
	Very small energy consumption of less than 7KWH for dewatering of 10 cubic meters of material per hour
	No rolling or crushing the material, so no degradation or breaking of cells
	Squeeze can be easily adjusted by adjusting the air pressure in the belt tensioning cylinders
	No continuous air consumption
